4. Remove Debris

Regularly vacuum, dust, and remove any debris in your vents. This shouldn’t be a substitute for a professional duct cleaning, but regular upkeep can help preserve your system.

5. Change Furnace Filter

If you have pets or a lot of visitors during the holidays, you’ll want to regularly change your furnace filter to ensure proper airflow.

6. Review Thermostat
